At First Baptist Church, we strive to fulfill the teaching of Christ found in the Great Commandment (Mark 12:28-31) and the Great Commission (Matthew 28: 18-20). As disciples growing together in Christ, try to follow the guideline that God has for every Christian:

	Discipleship:	"Equip all Christians to serve Him"

		REACH UP
		Reaching up is praying to and worshipping God. Worshipping God means expressing our love to Him. We can only express our love to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We call that person a Christ-follower. At First Baptist, we believe that, as Christ-followers, we should worship God.

		REACH OUT
		Another key purpose of First Baptist is to reach out to people who do not attend a local church. We encourage people to connect with their friends, family, neighbors, and co-workers and then invite them to attend First Baptist so that they will hear and understand what it means to be a Christ-follower.

		REACH IN
		We also exist to help Christ-followers grow in their spiritual maturity and become fully developed followers of Christ because the Christian life is one of constant growth and development, we are focused on providing biblical principles that can be applied to every day life.
